nooo not swearing at them will having high points and then low points in my pipes for a remote bleed facility cause a problem? i don't really
want to go drilling holes in my new bell housing i'd rather use whatever openings are already there
meant to draw the remote bleed thingy a little higher, like well above the clutch cylinder

Can’t you bleed the slave cylinder - then fit it inside the bell housing? I think that would save rather a lot of hassle and remove the need for the remote bleeding stuff pipe and all. Also how about using a braded pipe between the master and slave cylinder that would make it easier to install. You could probably even do the bleeding with the slave cylinder in a bench vice, and then simply fit it once done.
wot mr W says .... but how much aggro wold it be if yoiu needed to bleed the clutch once it is all fitted - would you need to lift the egnine or move
it forwards to get at the slave?
if so, then the remote bleed is a top idea.
in theory it should not matter if there is anything above the master or if there are loops, but in practice, you won't know until you tired it.
LR LWB front brakes have entrry into top cylinder, pipe to lower whcih has the bleed nipple. some folks have a nightmare getting the air out, others
don't.
it would be a full engine out job to bleed once the its all in. i could put a hole in the top of the bell housing, giving access to the top of the
cylinder for bleeding, but i think it would be in the tunnel, and not really have any access.
remote is the best solution, but i wanted to make sure there would be no air lock/trap if the hose was to come out the the top of the cylinder, go
down to the opening the the bell housing, and back up again (air should always find its way to the top after all, but in these tiny passages through
the pipes i didn't know if it still would, ie air tarp itself at the top of the slave cylinder
I've used a Corsa slave cylinder in mine , and it has no bleed nipple on at all
I put a bleed in the highest part of the pipe/hose run , and bled it by pumping the slave by hand before fitting the engine . I've not had any
problems with it at all
If you can get hold of a hand held vacuum pump it would make bleeding your setup dead easy - I use a `mytivac` for such tasks .
