Before I start rooting around in scrapyards:
I want to make a lightweight 4WD special, so am looking for some FWD uprights (I'll use the front ones front and rear) What I want are:
1) easy upper wishbone attatchment - ball joint preferred but I'd do a mushroom job if it's unavoidable
2) as small & light as possible
3) steering arm balljoint at same height as either top or bottom balljoints
4) really common & cheap....
obvously none of those is a killer criterion, just what should I look for.... micra? metro? nova? They all seem a bit big to me, some horrible little citroen? Any ideas welcomed

Have you tried fiat 127 uprights?
