Hi guys, I have a tiger avon and I have the side doors but now its raining far too much to drive it so I want to get the roof for it. Has anyone got pics of theirs?? I would like to see what it looks like. Also how much does it cost? Thanks in advance
I'll be interested in how this does, i have a westfield SE which i sued to drive with roof until i fitted a roll bar which is too high to allow
the roof to fit.
It attached with tenax fittings to the top of the screen.
Looked cracking and was totally water tight when stationary, but at 60 the amount of water the came in over the screen was laughable. Good fun, but
certainly not dry.
If i where you i would be looking at a plastic section to drop over the top with some fury linning as used on the westfeild widebodys.
Im also now looking to alter mine to allow the roll bar to poke out the top. I will be less waterproof over the lugage area im sure but hopefully keep
most of the driver/passenger if i can get a seal at the top of the screen. Gaffa tape anyone!
I might well do the work myself after my run-in with a local cloth man who charged £50 for a epically bodged mess on my tonnue alteration. Nice bloke,
but it seems he can get £500 for changing the rear glass in a porcshe roof so £50 for two seat 'ears' and some keyholes for the rear stays
was not high on his wish list.

He made a very simple and effective roof for his velocity.
Dead simple using caravan awning channel, and some nylon fabric.

I'll second Piddy's thread. I borrowed some of the ideas to convert a Caterham hood to fit on my car (Stuart Taylor with a Caterham screen)
I third Piddys idea..! I stole/borrowed the concept directly for my Mojo and it works a treat. I used much heavier fabric as I was concerned about
it 'drumming' at speed. My roof is fine for motorway speeds.
Caravan awning rail across the top of the windscreen (eBay) will give you a watertight seal across the front. Then get your choice of fabric from
Point North fabrics and crack out the sewing machine. 
I used the 3M reflective piping from PointNorth to tidy up the edges and to make sure I can be seen in the dark. In daylight, it just looks like grey
piping, but when light shines on it, it is very bright and really helps with such a small dark car! 
I also left the rear window out completely to stop it misting up inside on rainy days. As long as you park facing the rain then the inside stays
perfectly dry.
getting in and out with the roof fitted can be a bit of an artform, but I just unhook it from the rollbar to about halfway and fold the top over. I
can then hop in, reach up and pull the roof over, and reach behind me to do up the fixings.

They all look really really good. I don't think I could actually make on of those tho. I would much prefer to pay someone to do it properly. Or find a company that does it. I know you can buy them from tiger but it looks really bad quality...
I constructed both a hard top, and a hood. Will try to stick the pictures up.
