Which battery

Looks like my battery is toast, I've been charging it for over 24 hours and it hasn't got enough power to start the engine. What is the best battery money can buy? I've been looking at optima red and yellow top batteries but I've had conflicting information on what one to get. I have a hayabusa bec with an electric reverse so I need the best battery to stop it cutting the engine out when I engage the reverse motor.

Lithium battery all the way !

With my Hayabusa powered car I run a 12v SHORAI for my normal ECU electrics linked in series via the starter switch to an additional 6v so I have 18 volt to start only but 12v to circuitry.

My Red Top 25 weighed 7.2kgs, my replacement SHORAI of larger cranking capacity weighs 1200g ...... a 6kg saving

There is now a supplier in the UK, link here, oh and I highly recommend the charger too.

PM me and I will send you the spec of the batteries I have if you're interested.

Sorry! That's stupid. It's only 6V.

8XAA?

I couldn't get hold of a litium battery locally so i got hold of one of these. Apparently it's the same as an optima yellow top but cheaper. Now the eninge starts in half a turn and i can reverse without the engine cutting out or even dropping revs, i don't have to rev it up either

Exide agm battery
