Model cars - made by who?
scoobyis2cool - 13/7/06 at 06:18 PM

Seeing as I haven't got any car whatsoever at the moment I'm seriously itching to work on something, but all my budget can stretch to is a model car. The trouble is I can't remember the names of any companies that make them, can anyone jog my memory?

Cheers

Pete

I seem to remember a company called Pocher make very detailed 1/8th scale model kits, with real wire wheels, metal bodies and leather interiors etc.
They're not cheap though.

Or did you mean radio controlled?

In which case Tamiya, Schumacher and about a squillion others, which I can't remember either.

Why have you not got any money if you have sold your car?? Saving up for something special eh?

Tamiya do a couple of excellent caterham models, if thats your sort of thing.

Not cheap though.

Used to race a schumacher - but the team associated TC3 touring car or RC10B3 buggy are good

Wow thanks for all the suggestions, I'll do my best to check them out in more detail at work tomorrow when I'm getting paid for it

I was initially thinking of just a static model, but with all the RC suggestions popping up I'll look into that as well, would be nice to have an engine to play with even if it is a tiny 2 stroke!

Oh and I've got no money because I spent it all travelling around Australia - great fun but it doesn't half eat up your cash!
