pinto supa charger help

would be greatfull of any addvice on a pinto with a custom made supa charger. how and wot extra strian would it put on the engine if any. wot would parts in the engine 2 cope. i know it's got single 45 webber barton cam 205 block oil catch tank. i will try and find out more later got 2 nip out. when i get back i can phone 4 more detials. chears 4 any help.

If you don't put any boost on it, it won't be under any strain

What kind of boost are you going for, what kind of blower etc etc etc.

don't know wot boost it's running it's a car i'am looking at. just know the supa charger is of a merc van that was ritten off. has a decompresion plate, baffied and shortend modified sump, shells and grind crank, 205 block he does'nt know if piston or conrods it has. its a kent cam not burton. one 45 carb on it,oil catch tank. it,s on a mk and the car it's self suit's the bill 4 me.

did me a bit to.cheers 4 the help. it ended up as a nono why people send u photo,s of the car from ten years ago and make out thier new i don't know. it had diff exhaust 2 the photo,s the nose cone well we won't go into that. black smoke, sliping clutch,spluttering badly at low speed and rev,s. apart from that nice car.
