Adjustable seirra steering column

Hi all,

I am getting close to fitting my upper steering column. However its an adjustable one and am wondering if this is going to cause a world of pain and hassle. I have stripped away all the adjustment parts and have bolted to it up to remove any adjustability but am looking for any advice on the best way to secure this safely without risk of it moving.

Is this column going to be ok to use??

Cheers

Chris

Best to leave all the plastic bits and bolt up tight with a long bolt. I just got mine set right the cut the handle off at the base.
