panard rod rose joint

would this be suitable for the rose joint on the panard rod on a de dion..

Not sure, but it doesn't look like there is any safety washer to keep the socket from popping off the ball if there is a failure. That makes it a no-no for any critical component in my books.

was thinking of replacing the rosejoint..

i dont have the right length bolt and was looking at other options...
