Removing Sierra stering wheel

Evening All,
Can anyone please tell me how to remove my Sierra steering wheel.I've removed the circular horn button from the wheel but can't see a steering wheel retaining nut as described in the Haynes manual, only three small springs and the spade terminal for the horn. Hope someone can help.

Regards

David

screwdriver the metal plate out and you'll find the nut.

If I remember rightly from previous posts (someone correct me) you need to have the steering lock NOT active then you remove the wheel or you will have problems with it later.
