Panhard and Rose Joints

I'm going to order some steel tube to make my Panhard from and think (as mentioned in another Panhard thread in here) I am going to go for Rose Joint type ends. I'll probably get 20mm 1.6 wall tube but want to be sure I can get the Rose Joint inserts to suit.

Any advice welcome .

i bought threaded inserts from rally design (they are like little top hats) then bought the tube to make sure they were a good tight fit.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I used 25mm dia 1.6mm wall and made an insert to fit with an m12 bearing.

I did think of using 25mm not really sure if it makes that much difference as I'm only pushing a 1.6 Pinto so not exactly gonna strain the axle too much!

Unfortunately I don't have the tools or know how to fabricate my own inserts to take spherical joints so I'll have to get the best fitting ones I can and weld in place.
