atlas diffs (ha ha you lot will like this one...)
still having a nightmare with this one.. thought i was alomost home and dry...
got an atlas axle, been retubed, group 4 spec, full floating hubs, new driveshafts with 18 splines. shafts are 30.5mm, won't go through the ends
of the diff. thought they could be machined out (a rally parts place confirmed this too) got new 18 spline quaife side gears. they don't fit
i'll try and get a photo to demonstrate.
getting a little annoyed.
anyone know a good source for a cheap (2nd hand is ok by me!) quaife LSD (16 or 18 spline, prefer 18 though)
yeah, i know, cheap? quaife? blah blah blah

give some where like West Wales Rally Spares a ring or Peter Lloyd rallying.
You can get big side gears to fit the standard diff iirc. Think they are generally called "ZF side gears" int he rally world but pretty
sure they fit the std lsd.
They will let you know anyway!
Retro RWD is the way forward...........automotive fabrication, car restoration, sheetmetal work, engine conversion
retro car restoration and tuning
