If you get stuck I have one of the old Haynes Sierra manual that covers gearbox rebuild.

Hmm I have the Sierra manual but I didn't think it had the gearbox rebuild in it just how to remove it from the car.

You need the early one, pale blue cover. IIRC PPC did a series on overhauling the type 9?
