Go-kart steering wheels?
Not sure if this a dumb question, or not, but has anyone thought about using a go-kart steering wheel, available in small sizes, many are all alloy
construction, some are the “trendy” flat sided, leather covered etc. etc. Price wise they seem to be very good value, even for the so-called top
brands, certainly seem cheaper than equivalent aftermarket car ones. Obvious questions: am I missing something? Ideal for a track car? Boss, I can
always re-drill or modify a kart boss!

Good link
Good link, must have been having one of those days because I’m sure I did search but found nothing, maybe a typo in my search question!
Don’t believe the “not strong enough” argument unless going super cheap and nasty, I’ve done some karting events and I think the streaking inputs are
as physical as any lightweight car will be.
I was more concerned that the quality would be a let down become tatty quickly
