Will 7.5" crown wheel fit in 7" diff

Good morning.
Could anybody tell me if the 3.92 crown wheel and pinion from a 7.5" diff will fit into my 3.62 7" diff please?

Also, is it possible to swap the bolt on shafts to push in?
Any pitfalls or pointers?

Thanks

Dave

I rather doubt it, or they wouldn't have needed to design and manufacture a larger case for the larger diff!

does not fit.
Even if you could attach it to the planet gear arangement the pinion gear would need to be further back in the bearings.

The 7.5" refers to the diameter from the crown wheel, not the external dimensions of the diff.

7" and 7.5" crownwheels are not interchangeable.

So, does that mean I could modify a complete 7.5" diff down to 7" ???
Drive shaft lengths, etc etc etc???
