caster

Where do I take the readings from to get the caster. I have a unit that measures caster and camber and kpi. It has a magnet and locks on to the wheel or disk and you set it up with turning a dial round and setting a bubble between two lines. Cant get a manual so I am working in the dark. The camber is easy to set and when checked with a lazer was 100 per cent. David. Any one used this type of machine

castor is the line between top and bottom ball joints when viewed from the side. Best bet with your magnetic thing is to stick it on and line it up as best you can. The reading will be slightly affected by camber but not much.
