Brake fluid cap

My Ford brake master cylinder has two caps on it for some reason. One has the sensor in it and one is just a yellow screw on cap.

The seal is busted on the yellow cap, so i took the part number off the cap, gave it to Ford and the new part is too big and won't screw on.

Does anybody know what type of car it may be off?

Failing that I will have to buy another level sensing cap and swop the seal over.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Hi

sorry will get a pic in a bit - the resevoirs are link by a passageway so you never have to take the cap witht the sensor out.

The are both for the brakes i am running a transit brake cylinder.
