rose joint size?

hiya,what size rose/heim joints are people using for a arms ect,for my car engined buggy i had in mind (for chassis side of a arm) circa 16mm thread and hole size? sound ok?

1/2" is plenty big enough

I've used 1/2" UNF on both the F1-2 and MotaLeira.
The F1-2 is 3 years old and done a couple of thousand miles with no problems yet.

I just got the cheap ones from McGill, 1/2" UNF + the dislocation spacers, these are then an exact fit for standard brackets.

You may also need a tap as once welded the threaded bungs may shrink so will need opening up so get one of these as well.

Its the 2 1/2" bolts to hold it all together that add the costs up.
