Diff oil... how much is too much?

Im loosing diif oil out of my diff breather.

Everytime i go out for a drive i end up with a pool of diff oil on my diffuser.

I can only see it coming from the breather.

I drained it recently and put new diff oil in, just under 1ltr.

Is that too much?
Will it find its own level?
The diff wines under some low down revs, is this normal?

diff oil

I lost some on a track day and pit it down to wheel spin foaming the oil up, left it at the level it ended up at have not lost anymore since.

Usually fill it until it dribbles out but later ford revised this and advised and L shaped bit of wire to used as a guide, if my memory serves me right it was 10mm below the diff filler hole.

I on the other hand have replaced the short vent pipe with a much longer one that goes right up to just below the roll bar top platform and the p clipped back down to the bottom.

I'll try and get a picture later.

Cheers
