BMC resiviour

I was looking through the sierra manual earlier and noticed i have put the resiviour of my BMC round the wrong way, to whats shown in the pic of the manual. I have already filled the system with brake fluid and used the brakes which seem to work fine! Is it anything to worry about / make any difference? Greg

cna't work out what you are saying here - are you using sierra master cylinder and sierra reservoir?

what is this BMC you refer to?

a quick look at sierra master cylinder reservoir shows that the master needs to be fitted at an angle (looks like 20 - 30 degree) for the reservoir to be level - if it can be fitted the oher way, it will slope badly - unless your master cylinder is fitted sloping the other way.

has it passed SVA like that?
"brakes seem to work" - you have driven it?

anyways, this is all speculation - can you post a photo of what you have done?

Sorry perhaps I haven't explained this very well,
I am using the sierra brake master cylinder (BMC) basically I have fitted the master cylinder as normal but I have fitted the resiviour to the master cylinder round the wrong way so the cap is at the other end to what is shown in the manual.
I haven't been through SVA / IVA yet but I have driven it round a farm where I'm doing the build and the brakes seemed to work fine. So basically my question is does it make any difference as if so I'd rather turn it round now before I put the side panel on and spill brake fluid everywhere!! Thanks for reply Greg

Your reservoir only keeps your brake lines full of brake fluid so bearing that in mind i cant see that you will have any issues.
