MT-75

Anyone in the know reond please!
I need info on swapping the bellhousing from a 4x4 onto a standard back end.
I am trying to sort the problem of finding a manual box to fit my cosworth v6 but it is proving to be a pain in the butt

You'll have trouble mate - the input shaft on the V6 boxes is also longer. Best to look for a late Capri V6 (2.8i) or an XR4.

Yes, tricky, some later Scorpio 24v's had manual 'boxes but not very many. Some of the 2.9 12v's also had them but again rare! The Capri or XR4i 'box is probably your best bet but you'll need a gearkit in it or it will break in very short order!

You can get the mt75 4x4 box modified to a 2wd. Can't remember who does it though.
You could try a local gearbox rebuilders and see if they could do the job. in theory the back end of a 4cylinder mt74 box will go onto the front end of a v6 4x4 mt75 box ?
