Track tyre advice

I'm thinking of getting some new wheels and track tyres, but undecided on what to go for.

For the wheels it will probably be Team Dynamics 1.2s.

For tyres was thinking of Toyo R888s as lots of people are using these [and going faster than me!].

Not sure whether to go for 14" or 15". I'm erring towards 14" (205/50/14?) but would be interested to get opintons.

Tyres will be for track and road.

Thanks

Stu

I would do, but don't think they'll fit over Sierra brakes. Happy to be proved wrong though!

I have 240mm disks and 8" drums.

Thanks

Stu

14" 888 only available in GG grade and I think only one size.

Lot's of people were/are running 888's because of the price difference to Yokohamas but they seem to have jumped up in price recently.

Thanks

I saw that and will be looking at the Yokos as well.

Camskill did have some 205/50/14s in last time I called them but only 1 or 2.

Main size in 14 is 185/60/14 in GG which is what I have on my car.

I would check pricing of the r888's as you can now only get them from approved motorsport dealers

Take the yokos in preference to the toyos.

Sizes here:

And for the toyos

http://www.toyo.co.uk/productdetail.php?identity=products&product_id=18

Id take the 15s as they wheels will probably be easier to come by and the choice of tyres is greater.

we all use 13's in RGB, well apart from a few people sticking some 14's on up the gearing. A full set of A048's comes in just over £300

These are nothing to do with me, but could be an option for you

Thanks, but I don't think they will fit.
