My New Fuel Tank

I got notification today that my new fuel tank was complete and Bryn @ Ali Fab kindly e-mailed me some photos of it finished in the workshop.

i think it looks MINT! And its BIG! calculated capacity is about 54/55 litres!

I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

it looks great, i bet that cost some money.

beats my 26 liter tank.

the boxing i take it is to keep the fuel where the pick up is? or is it for the fuel sender as well?

what about any words involving numbers?

looks awesome Alex, any photos of what your car looks like right now?

whats the actual dimentions of the tank? it looks at least 3 times bigger than mine, and i worked out mine to be 36 litres...

Bryn @ Allyfab made my tank too - very nice workmanship and the price wasn't at all scary either. Mine was a custom shape and I sent him a piece of cardboard to use as a cross section template and specified where all the inlets and outlets went. Total capacity is about 40 litres and it cost £150 + £12 delivery. Made in aluminium with two baffles splitting the tank into three sections and with a cylindrical sump 30mm deep with holes drilled between the main tank and sump to provide surge control. The pickup comes from the sump.

I can't recommend Allyfab enough. Good choice omega!

Another recommendation for Bryn. Made my fuel tank and shortened sump on ZX9R, prices aren't scary at all.
