Hello,
I was just wondering how much power or torque the standard Sierra diff can take safely, im looking into donor cars at the moment and thining about
what size engine I can go for using the diff etc.
Thanks Mark

Consensus is up to 300bhp with the push in shafts and 350 or more with bolt ons.
Both on the 7" diff. The 7.5" is good for 500+

its torque that breaks diffs and half-shafts not BHP alone. No idea what torque they can take. I imagine it would be difficult to break a sierra
diff in a sevenesque car.
Willing to be corrected...
nothing is impossible
everything is possible
