strugglin with sierra cv joint
hello,
Ive got a split cv boot. Ive got the drive shaft off but cant shift the out cv to replace the boot.
Has anyone got any advice. is there a clip or something?

which type of shaft is it - push-in or bolt-on ?

I think it a push in, there is no bolt

the bolt-on ones have 6 small bolts at each end to hold them onto flanges on the diff / stub axle
or push-in ones (looks like you need a new metal cover bit to strip them completly
