Pads for speed events

Currently running bog standard pads from the motorfactors in 205 calipers as I didn't want to splash out on fancy pads incase I found the calipers weren't useable.

Now I know the calipers are working fine what pads do people find work well on speed events? Obviously they need to work well from cold as there's no opportunity to get heat into them.

Mintex m1144. Work well from cold and just get better. I swapped from greenstuff and wouldn't go back if you paid me.

You won't get much better value than Mintex 1144 - they transformed my brakes after trying the Wilwood smart pads (which were scary)

There is a new Wilwood pad which is as good as the M1144 (CP20 I think). Not sure they will do it for anything but Wilwoods though.

If you look at the Wilwood USA site, you'll find a couple of the Wilwood pads which make 1144's look like greased lard. Not cheap.

Also not stocked by RD, and best to buy from USA direct.
