Drum Back Plate Paint

I'd planned to paint my Sierra callipers and drums with Folia Tec brake calliper paint, but because it's a bit expensive I didn't want to use it on the drum back plates. For this I'd intended to use Hammerite. Is this a bad idea due to the temperatures involved, if so what have you guys used?

I just painted my back plates with normal paint, it works great, foliatec isn't needed on those parts it's only when you use it on your front calipers when you need that kind of paint because it can stand heat better then normal paint.

I used Hamerite on the drums and the backplates works fine.

I'm sure I've got one, just don't know where I've put it
