13" wheel and caliper problem even with modded spring
i ave trial fitted my rear wheels today and even after fitting the shorter sierra caliper springs,although they clear the inside of the rim (just)
they foul the wheel balancing weights! can i re locate these weights anywhere else?

Yep, just move them over so they clear.

towards the inside of the rim? they will need to be moved a fair bit as the handrake cable lever also almost touches the wheel! cheers though

Yes, doesnt matter where aross the width of the rim they are fitted.

Ony the fronts need to be dynamically balanced that's what I was told.

Unbalanced rear wheels will cause uneven tyre wear even if you can't feel any wobble or shake.
