Alloy caliper overhaul

Hi guys

I have 2 4pot alloy calipers to overhaul due to the dust seals gumming up and not letting the piston return. I have split the caliper halves, removed the pistons and seals but am wondering how to clean the crud out of the grooves the rings sit in.

I have a dremel type tool with some brass brushes which would be ideal - but will brass damage the alloy at all?

Thanks

Shaun

Not sure I would want to risk it, It may be better touse a smallbent pick type tool to remove the worst and then clean with brake cleaner

Won't the bores be coated ?
If they are, I'd try electrolosis
