wheels and tyres

if i was going to get some 13s minilites what is the best size tyres to fit?

185/60*13 on 6" rims for the front and 205/60*13 on 7" for the rear.

although there has been a lot of conflict between 185s or 205s on the rear, a lot of split opinion.
Generally speaking a thinner tyre should be more responsive yet a wider tyre will ultimately be able to provide more grip.
On the extremes, very wide rear tyres would have the effect of weakening the grip on the front and therefore produce more understeer, but having never driven a kit car anyway, what do i know!
