Shopping list! Help...please
Hi, I need to get the parts together for my brake system, and need am not sure what I need to order. (Mainly the brake line and unions that I am not
sure on)
I will be running sierra rear calipers and cortina front calipers. Twin master cylinder with balance bar. M/C are is .625 and .7 (5/8). (Got all
these bits)
So, pretty much, its the brake lines and the unions that I am not sure what I need. I assume I also need a brake light switch and some flex brake
pipes, but again, not quite sure exactly. Would be great to get a suggestion of a shopping list for these bits if anyone can help?!?!
Thanks in advance.

Well first of all a roll of 3/16" brake line, kunifer (sp) is best, but plain copper is cheaper. The tool for putting the flairs on the brake
pipe. You will need four flexible brake lines, length to suite your build, (one of the locost members makes them). Then 10mm male and female unions, a
three way fitting for spliting the rear to both sides. A brake light switch, (plumbed into a front brake line, as rear does'nt work very well).
Finaly some brake line clips to secure the copper line in place. Probably missed some bits, but sure somebody will soon come along and rectify that.

You might want to go for stainless braided brake lines all the way from m/c to calipers. It makes fitting a whole lot easier and you can get them made
to measure by russbost for a good price.
