Brake master cylinder problem?
I tried to bleed the brakes today with an eazybleed kit but it appears that i am getting low pressure from the master cylinder, No matter how much i
bleed them i can get them to work
The cylinder is off a non servo fiesta, I used the 2 front connections for the fronts and 1 of the back connections for the rear and blocked the
other.
Ive also got a remote resiviour of a punto connected for the fluid.
Can anyone help?
Otherwise il change it for a punto one as i know these work well

Is there not a diagonal split on the Fiesta MC? I'm sure it is on mine. I think I have one front and one rear for the fronts then one other for
the back and a bleed nipple in the last.
Yep just checked. Diagonal split. Looking from the pedal end. Bottom right and top left are front and the other two are rear.

But would that make a difference even if it was connected up using the wrong ports? I should still get brake pressure shouldnt i?

The way you have it connected is correct for a kit. Why do you think you have low presure?
Does the push rod have a bit of play in it? It needs to have some when the pedal isn't being pushed.

I have tried to bleed over and over again and cant seem to get the brakes to work. if i take the pipe off the caliper andd put my fingure over the
pipe and get somone to press the brake there does not seem to be hardly any push out of the pipe.
The pushrod is allso pushing right in.

I don't know any more than this sorry mate  British Trident is your man.
I know that when I had trouble holding pressure it was because one of the seals that held the reservoir was a bit tired, although it didn't look
tired it was ever so slightly leaking and I only noticed when I caught a glimpse under the reservoir from a reflection of a piece of stainless steel.

what do you mean by low pressure? is it that there is no force at the calipers to make the brakes work, if so do either front or rears lock up? by
using the master cylinder your front rear spit will need some bias valve or something to ballance them

When you've bled it do you get a hard pedal, a spongy pedal or does it just go down with no resistence?
When the pedal isn't being pressed is there slight play in the push rod?
When you open the bleed screws does fluid run through?
Are your bleed screws at the top of the calipers?

Think ive figured out whats up - The brake nipples should be at the top, I have them at the bottom, Calipers are upside down so they need swapping
over to the other sides
