Calling All Wheel Clearance Experts...
Right...
I established in a previous thread that the ET+10 front wheels that my car came with, together with the 25mm spacer rings that are required to clear
the mahoosive calipers = an offset of ET-15 Not good!
The rears also run a ET+10 and are fine without spacers.
Are there any 13" wheels out there with spoke architecture that allows for a sensible offset, but maximum caliper clearance?
Or, should I just forget any notion of getting a set of 13's to work and go for a 14 / 15?
All help appreciated!

I suppose my question should start as... is a ET-15 as bad as I suspect it would be (I've not driven on it).

I think you should probably contact the maker of the car! I assume you still have the vauxhall powered 7 you bought a while back? They will tell you
the correct wheel widths and offsets required! Depending on car and geo settings. Offset could make a huge difference
