Which lift kit?
Anyone recommend a (locost) lift kit for my range rover inspired project?
Is the standard Gaz kit from Britpart any good or should I be looking for something from the likes of procomp??
I'm looking at the DA4286 light duty with 40mm lift. Prices vary greatly between £160 and £220

Are the Range Rovers anything like the my Mitsi Pajero were you can do a 2" lift just by using rubber bushes between the chassis and body
(anything higher requires mods to radiator, brake lines etc) suspension remains on the chassis. or do Range Rovers not have a seperate chassis.
Link to 3" Paj lift
sounds like it will be distictive have fun with it

Hi
I can't be of any help regarding what your after. BUT due to the obvious i do receive 2-3 calls a day from people looking for PROCOMP ( the 4x4
) specialists. And so far i have had no one trace them here in the UK for the last 3-4 years. The last number i had for them was in Cheshire somewhere
but that number no longer exists. The reason most people are ringing though is to try and get replacement items due to them failing or leaking after
not too much usage.
Cheers Matt

Imagine the poly doughnuts would work for the rears on the RR - or machined items, so relatively easy to source.
While since Ive been under a RR front end, so cannot comment. Ive got a good contact for RR if you want any suggestions from him, he is well versed in
all things Land Rover/Range Rover. His current one is a re chassis Lightweight on a V8 RR running gear.
Ive just one of these for a new shape Vitara, not sure why as I dont own a Vitara, but it was a bargain...

My Lada had ProComp long dampers, and were no problem, but I know of a few who burst the seals on them fairly quickly. So not necessarily the best for
your buck,.
