PISS-D OFF
Have brought some 13" wheels had them shot blasted, brought some 13" slicks for track days because 13" are cheaper. Tried to fit
wheel on the rear only to find they hit the calipers.

what wheels are they then so others can avoid this,
and i would be pi$$ed off too if that heppened,
what are your options change calipers?? or stick to 15",
good luck resolving though

Oops. What calipers are they? Sounds like an excuse to upgrade rear brakes to me - you can justify "needing" them now!!

I believe others have managed to grind a bit off the rear caliper to get 13s to fit. Depends how close they are though.

Where do they touch the caliper? Would spacers solve this?

or do they foul the spring? if so a modified spring can be bought. i have 13"s on my mnr and they clear with spring

If its Sierra calliper, Sierra disk. Then I've been there too!
There is a solution though. Fiesta front disks, machine down the hub slightly (can't remember the exact amount, but maybe 4mm) and then remake
the caliper carrier (not difficult).
The Fiesta disks are smaller diameter and have more of a dish which moves the calliper in-board.
Total cost of parts is about £20 but quite a bit of work and you really need a lathe.
It also affects brake balance slightly but easily dealt with.
This is what I have on mine, and they fit easily under 4-spoke revolutions.
