Brake Pads for Racing
We are currently using the stock pads caterham supply for our racer, Fronts are fine but we are trying different rear compounds.
We have tried mintex 1166 last season which were a bit better, should we try 1177 or 1155. Any other brands worth trying.
We always struggle to get maximum rear brake force with the current pads even with the bias wound as far as it will go (yep we have bled the
system)
Any other suggestions thoughts?

We can't change any of parts due to the regulations so brake pads is all we have!

Check out Carbotech - I've got their XP-8 pads on my Mitsubishi Legnum VR-4, and the ability
of that thing (~1700kg) to stop is amazing, and they stand up to repeated braking without fade.

I'd advise strongly against any EBC products, especially yellowstuff. The quality control is crap.
Carbotech pads are absolutely magnificent.
ETA - Not cheap, but brilliant value
