Fuel tank thickness
I'm going over to a company tomorrow to see if they can weld me up a nice ally fuel tank - what thickness of ally shall I ask them to use?
Cheers

1.6 or 2mm is fine, do you know what they are going to charge you?

No idea I'm afraid, why, reckon you could beat them?
If i get a chance I'll post some details later and maybe you can give me a rough quote

Is there something special about it?

I need the following features:
baffle inside the tank
swirl pot on bottom with outlet
fuel inlet on top
breather on top
fuel return on top
(possibly a baffle around the breather, it can really spew out fuel under hard cornering)
These are probably quite standard features, I will do a sketch with dimensions tomorrow if that would help
Cheers
