See Merlin for brackets, he also makes the "magic box" which does away with the need for the "L" construction
See the photo archive, under Merlin

You could try sending him a U2U (private message) if you don't see anything of him, my set of brackets are just sat there doing nothing (seeing as I
was supplied a set by MK when I got my suspension parts from him) give me a mail if you can't get in touch with him.

If you want to contact merlin use the u2u on here as merlins e-mail is broke.
Parts i have from merlin are top drawer, look on his archive.
He will make a chassis too, your spec as well.

having spent 30 plus hrs making up the back of my car, and being half way through building a shed extension so i can have room to work, cutting one
side off an rhs and drilling a couple holes seems pretty instant!
Of course if you can get em made, then great. But then push that too far and its not exactly the build from scratch concept anymore.
Agree about the fuel tank - trying to weld good enought to keep a searching solvent in (petrol) seemed like an expert job to me. SO i got mine made by
my dad put of 1mm stainless.
