What sort of use ? and Size ?
Track days ? General use ? wet weather use ?
AO21R's are a pretty good allrounder but it depends on the size you need ?

I have just got a set of
these. Very good feed back on the interweb. They aren't cheap tyres, but tyres sold at
a cheap price. They are dearer at Camskills. I ordered mine on a Friday afternoon and received them Monday morning, from Germany

Realy depends on what you use it for and how brave you are. If it's just nice weather blats and track days then 888's or Yoko 048.
If you go out in all weathers and touring you might want more wet grip then...
CR500 you know
AO21 is a soft 048 compound with wet tread but will wear quick,
Toyo R1R is a medium 888 compound with more wet friendly tread and good reports.
Federal RSR or Kumho V70 are well regarded in track day circles but I don't know how they are on a light car.
Personally I use 888's or 048's in all weathers including a fair bit of euro touring miles. I'd use R1R's but they don't
do them in 13"

R888's are brilliant in the wet. I personally didn't rate the cr500 very well compared to kumhos, r888 or a048.
