Polybushes - Stupid Question!

When you use a polybush, instead of a rubber bush with crush tube, do you just use a standard bolt / set screw to secure the wishbone to the chassis? Or is there a metal insert or crush tube?

Thank you!

Chris.

oohh

this same question caused a major war a few months back!

The majority decided (by about 9:1) that a bolt ISNT a pivot. There should be a crush tube in the bush.

Unless my memories gone

In fact, the rear swing arm on the bike Im renovating right now goes to some length in the design to make sure that the bushes dont pivot directly on the bolt.

So I'll have to make sure the poly bushes I get have got crush tubes in them.

Thank you,

Chris.
