Sticky steering bush

I thought too good to miss out on a run tonight... A couple of miles in the steering felt a little stiff. Pulled over and stationary the steering felt fine going lock to lock... Started driving again having checked everything else. It seems as if it just feels a little difficult coming off straight ahead... The only thing I can think of is the bush that goes through the bulkhead which is nylon/plastic and sits in a rubber outer... needs lubricating.... What is best go use?

Thanks
Dave B

A self aligning bearing! Cost about a tenner and transformed my car making the steering self center easily . The Luego mounting flange for the plastic bush isn't perfectly in line with the steering column and will bind . IIRC my bearing came from Simply Bearings , do a search on here , it's been covered several times HTH
