Sierra rear disc brake valve
I am planning on using front and rear discs from a sierra donor but didn't get the deceleration valve from the original donor. I have been
looking for one from a sierra with no luck so now looking at other options.
I have seen there are many posts on this issue with different opinions but I don't know a lot about these things so I'm looking for
someone that has done this and can advise on the best solution that will work 100%.
Does anyone know where to get a suitable valve and give me an idea on how they should be fitted?
Any help would be much appreciated

My m8(zx12rdug)has SVA'ed three MK indys all using sierra front and rear discs and master cylinder piped straight to the calipers with no
problems, but some on here have had issues.
I'm trying a Fiesta restrictor,it can be screwed into master cylinder or fitted in line as the connections both ends are M10X1
You can see them in the lower outlets on this master cylinder:
FORD FIESTA 1.8 DIESEL MK5 BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER WITHOUT ABS 2000-2002 â—˜
Not tried it yet,but they are deffo a restrictor.

G-Valve - Again!!
Hi Shorty.
I used to work on these valves, which were great for the manufacturer, (Girling), because they were so cheap to mass produce. But please bear in mind
that the Sierra valve was designed/tuned to work on the Sierra, (i.e. bigger + heavier than 2-seater sports car). It probably won't work as well
in the type of cars featured on this forum. This is because the G-valve works by comparing relative inertias of i) the ball within the valve, and ii)
the inertia of the vehicle its fitted to.
Other suggestions for suitable brake pressure control valves are, -
1) from one of the Fiat vehicles, and
2) from an earlier Fiesta model (the one with the valves screwed into the mcyl rear outlet ports).

Don't for get, if this is being used to reduce the brake balance so can pass IVA, the brake test is static so it won't work.
