Propshaft
Hi all
I'm running a MT75 'box and a Sierra LSD:
How do you recommend I get a propshaft built? DIY is probably outside my ability range as I have no means of balancing the shaft. Are there companies
that will manufacture a propshaft to a given spec, if I supply them with both flanges?
Also, do I require a slip joint? The engine and 'box are mounted on rubbers and the diff is hard-mounted.
Thanks
Josh

I need to get a propshaft made for my car and I spoke to a man on a stand at Stoneleigh from Northwest Propshafts. I was impressed with his knowledge
and enthusiasm and so I will probably go with them. Their website has a section showing all the information and measurements that you need to supply
for them to make a one off propshaft.

Another vote for North west prop shafts. They will do a great price for cash too. Ask for Mick, he's the one who owns the kit car that was on
their stand at Stoneleigh.

I got mine done at NW props, I trailered the car there so they could measure it. From arriving to leaving with a freshly made/painted propshaft took
about an hour. Cracking service and price.

+1 for Dunning and Fairbank.
They've made me several prop shafts and modified a couple. They totally rebuilt my Transit 3-piece prop with new U/Js, splines and bearings for
less ££s than I could buy the U/Js!!
