Kumho Ecsta Tyres
This I rather an embarrassing question to have to ask but here goes!
I bought the rear tyres for my project 6 months ago, a pair of Kumho Ecsta V70s, the problem is I’m now about to purchase the front tyres and for the
life of me I can’t remember if I bought the hard/medium or soft compound! I did my research at the time to chose the most appropriate compound but
I’ve since forgotten what my conclusion was! There is nothing on the tyre sidewall that matches with anything on the internet, are there any tyre
experts on here that can offer any suggestions!?

Code k21 soft, k60 medium, k90 hard should be marked on the side wall.

Ive used the v70a's superb tyres
Just to add I think the super softs are k11

Thanks for the reply - but no k numbers on the tyre  I'll take a picture, perhaps someone can point out why I'm being so dumb!

For anyone interested - they only print it on one side of the tyre! If the car wasn't right up against a wall I'd have seen it on
t'other side!

Sorry to hijack but has anyone used the K21 Softs on their kits for track days?
Ive used 888's for years but fancy pushing the boundry and going for something softer.
or do they overheat too quickly?

K21 is used in sprinting so I doubt it will last very long on a track day (maybe in the wet). I suggest using the Medium for trackdays.

We've tested K21's on the Pulse, i think i got about 6 laps at snetterton on them. Might be ok in damp or wet conditions though.
The Kumho V70 K60 tyres are the way to go. & Very reasonable.
