Front back plate

Hi Do I need to use a back plate on the front discs.I've looked at loads of pics and some do and some don't its a cortina assembly help please

If you mean the stamped sheet metal thing that usually goes rusty, most people leave it off.
The bonus is that it leaves 3 threaded holes vacant, ready for the brackets that hold your motocycle wings!

Most people do leave them off. Weight saving, it's supposed to stop grease getting on the disc, but can't imagine that would be much of a problem
