I think his name is Phil and his user name on turbosport p9cyo. Lots and lots of info on there. Pictures side by side, sizes and weights.
If I turned the zt around to rwd its the way I would go.

I have recently fitted the Lexus IS200 version of this gearbox to my 3SGE engined car. It has similar ratios. First gear is a low ratio as already
stated but not totally redundant. You will still use it on hills or when two-up. If you disregard first gear you are left with a nice close ratio
five speed.
The RX8 version has the same output spline as the type 9 but will need a change of oil seal in order to retain the type 9 prop. The input spigot
diameter is the same too. Its a no-brainer really.
I spoke to the guy selling the adaptor plates at Stoneleigh. He is selling quite a few to RX8 owners fitting Zetecs!
The AZ6 is stronger than the type 9 too and has a superior gearchange.
Get onto turbosport website and find phil.

here -
http://www.turbosport.co.uk/showthread.php?t=500016
Also used in the Nissan 200SX S15, Subaru BRZ/Toyota GT86, Mazda MX5, Lexus IS200 and Mazda RX8 - Aisin AZ6.
So based on that lot is should be good for 250HP and be able to rev to 8.5k+.
