Maxi Ball Joint Thread
Tried doing a search with no luck. Anyone have any idea what thread the maxi ball joint is?

UNF -- don't know the dia but it suspect 1/2" or 9/16"

May of been originally, but the 'Maxi' balljoints on my car are definately metric (12mm) nuts...

It may depend on who makes the ball joint, I found this with Escort TREs, the originals were 10mm fine but replacement ones were 10mm coarse, so
depending on the manufacturer they may well be different. If you need to know what yours are, invest in a set of thread pitch gauges, they're
not expensive, you can get them to do both metric & imperial & they`re hugely useful, save a lot of stuffing around & guesswork. Cheers,

Quinton Hazell Maxi BJs are 1/2 x 20 UNF Class 2A.
I suspect many imported pattern BJs will be metric.
