English axle?
Which model fords were the wider english axles fitted to? capri/cortina what diff ratio' s are availiable, and are the diffs interchangeable
with the escort english axle?

Wide english only fitted to some (mainly uk built 1300 & 1600) Capris Mk2 & 3
English axle diffs fittings are the same from 1958 105e Anglia through to last Escort & Capri models to use this axle.
Cortina only fitted with english axles up to end of MK2 production --- same width as escort.
I should add the 105e Anglia axle was 2inches narrower than the eScort.

Hi, have you considered using an alternative ? i.e. toyota lsd unit ? disc braked with lsd, and it 3 inches wider than an english anyway. much
stronger - not much more money. If interested pm me as I have one for sale.
