Sierra column mounting.
Decided to change the column I was using (Capri) to Sierra because it wasnt collapsible and relied on the wheel collapsible hub.
No probs in making up the top mounting but the lower bit ie compliance bush seems like it might be a pain hows everyone else got over this.
Cheers,
Bob

I am using a small piece of 3mm wall seamless tube which was very slightly smaller bore than the nylon bush. I turned the bush to size. The tube will
be welded to a suitable support when I finalise the layout of my steering.

Mine is almost same as Mix's. Tube welded onto chassis. Column bush locates inside this. Metal washer / retainer on back of bush to stop it
riding back up column towards steering wheel.
Rake adjustment also seems to work as well.

Bob, I've used the bush and bracket from Robin Hood, it's the orginal sierra bush mounted in a plate of 3mm steel, shouldn't be to
hard to make a similar design.
