Play in differential bearings

Noticed today that there's some play in the offside output flange on my 3.38 LSD Sierra diff while the nearside is solid. Did a search on here and found someone saying it was normal to have some play on that side and not on the other but no idea if that's true? There's also a tiny bit of play on the input flange so either way maybe it needs a rebuild? Any idea on where to get that done and how much it would cost?

Road and Race transmissions do a lot of the Caterham LSDs..... worth a chat with them.

I've rebuilt 3 diffs to put in LSDs, 2 AP Suretracs and 1 Titan LSD. The bearings in the output shafts should not have any play as there is quite a healthy pre-load.

Cheers
Ian
