ZX-12R Sump

Does anyone know or know someone who knows - whether a 2001 sump will fit a 2004 block?

Any help would be appreciated on this... waiting for a reply from Kawasaki as we speak.

I ordered a dry sump at Pace products.
In the manual it says that onlu the inner oil tubes are thinner in the old types.
So the outline is the same but the points in the pan which push the oil tubes are higher in the old block.
In my sum there was a bolt which can be adjusted.

Is this the only difference between the two, and if so, would it be possible to cut these lugs down?

Should not be a problem, it is better to get it done by a nilling machine.
there are 4 points and the height is critical. In the next link there is a good description:
